Noisy Protest outside Sri Lanka Consulate in Sydney
Campaign for Democracy in Sri Lanka as part of their day of Action held a noisy and determined protest to demand that the Sri Lanka Government restore Democracy and release political prisoners including two political dissidents Lalith and Kuhan and keep their hands off the judiciary in Sri Lanka.
Representing Unions in Australia Jan Primrose , Secretary to Search Foundation Peter Murphy, Representing Socialist Alliance Peter Boyle,Dianne Fields representing Socialist Alternative , from Migrante International Jane Brock and the convener for Campaign for Democracy in Sri Lanka Jagath Bandara also spoke at the Rally.Speaker after speaker condemned the current undemocratic behaviour by the Sri Lankan Government
